PokerStars offering ten seats into next year’s PSPC live poker tournament
Prominent online poker operator The Stars Group Incorporated has announced that its PokerStars brand is running a special promotion that is offering players the chance to win seats into a €22,500 ($24,933) buy-in event at next summer’s Barcelona stop of the European Poker Tour (EPT).
The Toronto-headquartered firm used an official Tuesday press release to detail that the Stars Rewards Mystery Chest campaign is set to get underway from later today and will see ten participants awarded with Platinum Passes worth €26,466 ($29,326) into 2020’s edition of the high-roller PokerStars Players No-Limit Hold‘Em Championship (PSPC) live poker tournament.
Bestowing buy-ins:
The Stars Group Incorporated explained that the PSPC event is scheduled to take place at Casino Barcelona as part of the EPT’s Catalonian extravaganza from August 20 to 24 with the Platinum Pass winners set to receive their buy-ins as well as six nights’ hotel accommodation for themselves and a friend. The operator pronounced that the ten lucky online poker aficionados will also be rewarded with flight, transfer and travel expenses as they look to take on over 1,000 other players in hopes of bagging a top prize that is expected to top €4.5 million ($5 million).
Plentiful prospects:
Severin Rasset, PokerStars Commercial Officer for The Stars Group Incorporated, used the press release to state that the Stars Rewards Mystery Chest promotion will randomly award five Platinum Passes to participants at each of the site’s .com and .fres domains while future such campaigns are to ‘be disclosed on a regular basis until the August 2020 event’.
Rasset’s statement read…
“The inaugural PSPC was an amazing success and featured hundreds of Platinum Pass winners who dared to dream of playing in an exclusive high-roller event. The PSPC demonstrates our commitment to cultivating and growing the game not only by creating opportunities for poker fans of all levels to win life-changing sums of money but also by showcasing poker and the entertainment it provides.”
Quintuple spots:
As if this wasn’t enough, The Stars Group Incorporated proclaimed that five lucky online poker aficionados have already been awarded with their PSPC seats as part of PokerStars’ recent Chase Your Dream: Play Against Your Heroes competition. This Platinum Pass contest along with its €10,000 ($9,028) cash prize was won by French player Clement Eloy and he is now set to be joined in Spain next year by fellow participants Danielle Summer, Adrian Garcia, Christoph Walkenhorst and Daryl Inglis.
